Wanita C. Studnicka, age 82 of Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at the Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel Wisconsin. She was born on December 18, 1930 in Excelsior Wisconsin. The daughter of Ervie and Beulah (Dobbs) McDowell. She married LeRoy Bahr in 1953. She then married Arthur Sakaye Sr.on August 2, 1955 in Alaska. She then married LeRoy Studnicka on August 14, 1972 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua Iowa. She is survived by her husband; LeRoy Studnicka of Boscobel, 3 sons; Arthur Sakaye and Special friend Vivian both of Andover Mn., Mark Sakaye of Eau Claire, Troy Studnicka of Madison . 2 daughters;Cathy Bahr and special friend Jerry both of Blue River, Susan (Doug) Guernsey of Muscoda. 4 Grandchildren,2 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Sister Wava Miller of Mineral Point. Several Nieces and Nephews. 3 Step-Children; Tammy (Bert) Menning of Mifflin, Kimberly (Andy) Stahl of Muscoda, Shawn (Lisa) Kraus of Oregon Wi. 4 Step-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Gary Sakaye, a sister Wanda McDowell, a brother Keith McDowell.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday February 18, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday February 18, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. In lieu of Flowers memorials can be given to the Boscobel Rescue Squad, St. John's Lutheran Church or the Tuffley Center. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family. She was a very good friend . I really miss her when I moved to Florida. We had fun doing our walks after we got off work from Advance tranformer at 12:30 at night. She always had a laugh . She will be missed so much . But I know I will see her again .
