Dateline Boscobel
Ronald "Ron" W. Dickman, age 52 of Boscobel, passed away on Monday January 30, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 1, 1959 in Rice Lake Wisconsin. The son of Gerald and Anne (McCormick) Dickman. He married Fonda Flansburgh on August 28, 1982 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Ron worked for the past 15 years for Boscobel Ready Mix as a driver. He is survived by his wife Fonda Dickman of Boscobel. Two daughters: Katie (Chad) Swatek of Wauzeka, Melissa Dickman and significant other Brad Schlee both of Seneca. Two Grandchildren Breckyn Schlee of Seneca, Lilyan Swatek of Wauzeka. His mother Anne (Fritz) Curtis of Boscobel. A sister Mary "Bear" (Steve) Fritz of Boscobel. Three brothers: Michael (Sandra) Dickman of Wauzeka, Mark (Joyce) Dickman of Broadhead, Steve (Tammy) Dickman of Boscobel. His Mother in law Katherine Flansburgh of Boscobel. A sister and brother in laws: Fern (John) Udelhoven of Boscobel and Fletcher Flansburgh of Boscobel. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Dickman, and a father in law Avery Flansburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Thursday February 2, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral home in Boscobel and also on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of departure to the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Prairie Hospice, Boscobel Rescue Squad or the Boscobel Fire Department. On line condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
