Susan J. Moravits, age 70 of Boscobel passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at her home in Boscobel. She was born on March 10, 1941 in Steven's Point Wisconsin. The daughter of Allen and Dorris (Lintner) Kussmaul. Susie owned and operated the Comfort Beauty Shop in Boscobel for 50 years, often providing transportation to and from her shop for client's who didn't drive. She was the type of person who helped anybody. She loved golfing and being outdoors. Susie liked going to auctions and collected marbles, dice, and canes. She was also known for feeding the squirrels and the neighbors cat who visited daily for food and a nap.
She is survived by her father Allen Kussmaul of Mount Hope. Two sisters Connie Klinkhammer of Mount Hope, Flynt Kussmaul of Sarasota Fl., a niece Stacey Martin of Bloomington. Three nephews Andy Lucas of Mount Hope, Seth Kussmaul of Madison, Ryan Kussmaul of Patch Grove. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorris Kussmaul, a brother Tim Kussmaul.
We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their call, cards, and visits and food. Special thanks Pastor Jen Johnson, Mary and Brenda from Hospice and to Dr. R. Stader, along with special thanks to Jen Hoffman for being there at the end.
Susie overcame many medical problems this past year, but this last one proved to be too much. Instated of fighting any longer she went aboard that special ship. A ship sails away and we see it no more, but we know it's going to some other shore. Our dear ones pass on and we see them no more but we know they are waiting on some other shore. Helen Steiner Rice.
A memorial Service and burial will be at a later date. The Kendall Funeral Serous in Boscobel is assisting the family. On line condolence can be sent to www.kendllfuneralservice.com
