Jeanette L. Mertz, age 79 of Fennimore, passed away on Friday December 09, 2011 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster Wisconsin. She was born on March 2 1932 in Dodgeville Wisconsin. The daughter of Arnold and Lavina (Kitelinger) Kreul. She married Robert A. Mertz on April 4,1951 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. She is survived by her husband Robert A. Mertz of rural Fennimore. Two daughters Patricia ( Bryan) Mertz Miller of LaValle, Julie (Roger) Howell of Woodman. A son Robert  L. and wife(Carmen Rasmussen) Mertz of Richland Center. Two grandchildren Rachel Howell & Kristen Howell. Four Step-Grandchildren Sean Howell, Nick(Tierany Turner)  Miller, Nathan(April)  Miller and Angela(Rob) Hasse. Three Step-Great-Grandchildren Ethan Miller, Evan Miller and Eva Hasse. A brother Larry Kreul of Boscobel. One nephew Steve (Lisa) Kreul of Boscobel. Three Nieces Susan Kreul and Husband George Frank of Sun Prairie, Cindy (Chris) Noffke of Madison, Sherri Kreul of Boscobel.She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday December 12, 2011 from 5:00 -8:00P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service.
