Luella I. Drake, age 87 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel.  She was born October 8, 1927 in Richland County near Excelsior, Wisconsin. The daughter of  Lee (Ollie) and Goldie (Graham) Faulkner. She married Frank (Tuff) Drake on February 2, 1946 in Lancaster, Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on August 13, 2013.  Luella worked for Badger Ordinance in Baraboo, JC Penney’s, Borden Foods Warehouse for 8 years and for Advance Transformer in Boscobel for 23 years. She  enjoyed  flower gardening, climbing the hills and rock collecting, squirrel hunting, and creating ceramic pieces. Luella is survived by her loving children:  Howard (Shirley) Drake of  Boscobel and Vicki (Dennis) Colburn of Hartford, Wisconsin. Four  Grandchildren: Yvette (Brett) Lobajeski of  Fond du Lac, Brent (Kim) Drake of Boscobel, Brooke (Will) Reilley of Coon Rapids, Minn., and  Kristin (Steve) Espitia of  Hill AFB, Utah. 12 Great-Grandchildren.  A brother-in-law Milton Knoble and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Beauford and Nolan Faulkner, 2 sisters, Iona Sharpe and infant Ileen Faulkner. A Great-Granddaughter Hope Reilley .

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 11:00-2:00p.m. at the Tuffley Center in Boscobel. A luncheon will also be served. Private family burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
