DuWayne E. Shipley, age 84 of Hazel Green and formerly of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday November 16, 2013 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque Iowa. He was born on February 8, 1929 in Boscobel Wisconsin.  The son of Jesse and Mabel (Ward) Shipley. He married Loretta Lenzendorf on February 7, 1952 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel.  DuWayne enjoyed playing cards, fishing, Automobiles and dancing with Loretta at the Checker Board. DuWayne worked for John Deere in Dubuque for several years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loretta Shipley of Hazel Green, a daughter Janis Blevins of Fort Worth Texas. 5 grandchildren Dylan Blevins, Cheyenne Blevins (Hale), Caden Blevins, Wyatt Blevins, Weston Blevins all of Texas. A great-Granddaughter Gracie K. Hale of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Phyllis Boebel.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.  at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday November 21, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.
