Dateline-Blue River
Bessie I. Remington, age 97 of rural Blue River, passed away on Thursday January 31, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Muscoda Wisconsin. She was born on July 2, 1915 in Crawford County. The daughter of Melvin and Molly  (Vance) Steiner. She married Keith Remington on October 3, 1937 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2000.  She is survived by 5 Sons ; Val (Judy) Remington of Muscoda, Richard (Jean) Remington of Janesville, Claire (Myrna) Remington of Lansing Iowa, Ronald (Rose) Remington of New Lisbon, Roger Remington of Blue River. 12 Grandchildren 25 Great-Grandchildren 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren. A sister in law; Katherine Steiner of Blue River. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, 1 granddaughter Karen Remington.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday February 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Chuck Miller officiating. Burial in the West Fork Cemetery rural Blue River.
