Shelby J. Groom, age 74 of rural Gays Mills, passed away on Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Sannes Skogdalen Heim Nursing Home in Soldiers Grove. He was born on December 27, 1937 in Steuben Wisconsin.  The son of Kenneth and Mary (Kane) Groom.  He is survived by his special companion Mae Gander of Gays Mills, her children Bryon Gander of Gays Mills, James (Shelly) Gander of South Beloit. His children: Stan (Monica ) Groom of Elroy, Rita (Tom) Sevarnek of Houston Mn., Bruce (Xanthoulo) Groom of Arkansas, Tony (Janet) Groom of Albuquerque N.M. .  20 Grandchildren 26 Great-Grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Roland Groom of Steuben, Bob (Pam) Groom of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents along with a brother Donnie Groom.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday November  6, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel .Pastor Angie Steinhauer officiating.  Private family burial will be held on Wednesday November 7 2012 at the West Fork Cemetery Richland County Wisconsin.
