Dateline- Wauzeka
Darrell C. Rounds, age 70  of Wauzeka, passed away on Friday July 13, 2012 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel. He was born on August 13, 1941 in Bridgeport Wisconsin.  The son of Clarence and Gertrude (Yero) Rounds. He was raised in Boscobel Wisconsin and graduated from Boscobel High School in 1959. He married Carole Mathews on August 12 1961 in Wauzeka .  The family lived in Kenosha Wisconsin until 1966. Darrell worked at American Motors until 1966. The family moved back to Wauzeka.  Darrell worked at Pustina Construction in Cobb from 1966 until 1977. He was then employed by crawford County Highway Department from 1977 until his retirement. Later in life he married Flo Keller on October 26 1985 in Wauzeka. She preceded him in death 1998.. He is survived by a daughter Julie (Robert) Frey Jr. of Boscobel. A son Mark Rounds of Mt. Zion & Special Friend Karla.   Five grandchildren: Brandon Rounds of Madison, Devin Rounds of Mt. Zion, Ethan Frey, Drew Frey and Lazer Frey all of Boscobel. A great Grandson Bentley Frey. A special friend Barb Torgerson of Wauzeka, her children Opal (Pete) Hostert of DeSoto, Kenton (Jeannie) Ernst of DeSoto, Roy Matlock of Viroqua. He was preceded in death by his parents along with two sisters infant Ruth Rounds and Alice Thompson.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday July 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Century Hall in Wauzeka. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday July 21, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Service at Century Hall in Wauzkea.
