John Curtis, age 73 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday November 4, 2011 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel. He was born on October 1, 1938 in Crawford County Wisconsin. The son of Joe and Ruth (Atkinson) Curtis. He was employed by the Crawford County Highway Department for several years. He is survived by his sister: Delores (Floyd) Drake of Steuben. A  nephew Jeff Drake of Steuben, a niece Dawn (Tom) Scanlan of Platteville. Two great-Nieces Mattea and McKenzie Scanlan both of Platteville.Two Aunts Mary (Jim) Atkinson of Prairie du Chien, Maxine (Ken) Severson of Janesville. Ruby Jones of Prairie du Chien, Judy Krachey of Wauzeka. An Uncle Fred "Fritz" (Anne) Curtis of Boscobel. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday November 8,2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Jen Johnson officiating. Burial in the Haney Ridge Cemetery Haney Township Crawford County Wisconsin. Friends may call on Monday November 7, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel and also on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service.
