Carl E. Rounds, age 89 of Boscobel passed away on Friday March 13, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. He was born on December 10, 1925 in Fennimore. The son of Percy and Orra (Mathews) Rounds. He married Wilma Sander on November 27, 1948 at the United Methodist Church in Lancaster. He is survived by his wife Wilma Rounds of Boscobel. 2 sons: Bernard (Patricia Rose) Rounds of Gun Barrel City Texas, John (Lisa) Rounds of Boscobel. 3 daughters; Bernice (David) Dombeck of Prairie du Chien, Marlene (Robert) Cornwell of Gillette Wy., Carol Swenson of Boscobel. 18 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Diane Rounds. 2 brothers Clarence and wife (Gertrude) Rounds, Vernon and wife (Lois) Rounds. 6 sisters: Mattie and husband (Emerald), Staskal, Gladys and husband (Bert) Dilley, Mildred and husband (Dorris) Staskal, Myrl and husband (Berdeen) Sobek, Geneva and husband (Ervin) Fritz, and Dorothy Jean and husband (Archie) Rinehart.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Scott Jacobs officiating . Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Daugherty-Larsen Post # 446 American Legion of Steuben. Friends may call on Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
