Franklin C. ( Frank )"Tuff" Drake, age 89 of Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel surrounded by his loving family . He was born on May 2, 1924 in Boscobel. The son of William and Viola (Brown) Drake. He married Luella Faulkner on February 2, 1946 in Lancaster. Tuff graduated from Boscobel High School in 1944. He worked for Milo Sitts Salvage Yard, Borden Food Cold Storage Warehouse as a foreman for 38 years, and at the Sanitary Creamery in Boscobel for 7 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry, card playing with friends and relatives and evening drives in the country. Frank is survived by his loving wife Luella Drake of Boscobel. A son Howard (Shirley) Drake of Boscobel. A daughter Vicki (Dennis) Colburn of Hartford Wisconsin. Four grandchildren: Yvette (Brett) Lobajeski of Fond du Lac, Brent (Kim) Drake of Boscobel, Brooke (Will) Reilley of Coon Rapids Mn., Kristin (Steve) Espitia of Hill AFB Utah. 11 Great-Grandchildren. A brother- in- law Milton Knoble and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters Opal Wehrle, Joy Welsh, Ruth Dersch Knoble and a brother Wayne Drake. A great-granddaughter Hope Reilley and other friends and relatives.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday August 24, 2013 from 12:00-3:00 P.M. at the Tuffley Center in Boscobel. Private family burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Family. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family. On line condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com

Luella and family, Our very deepest sympathy to you all. Was so glad we stopped and visited with you last time we were down. And it was so nice to visit with Vicki and Howard at Peggy's. We send you all a hug and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love Jo and Doug
