Robert W. Frey Sr. Age 86 of Boscobel passed away on Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel Wisconsin. He was born on July 21, 1925 on the family farm in Marion Township Grant County Wisconsin where he spent his entire life farming. The son of Herman and Irene (Ransom) Frey. He married Lorraine Lenz on December 6, 1947 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. She preceded him in death on October 9, 2001. He is survived by four sons Dennis (Shirley) Frey of Carson City Nevada, John Frey of Dubois Wy. and family friend Elaine Graser of Boscobel , Jim Frey and Fiancée Deb Wagner both of Boscobel, Bob ( Julie) Frey Jr. of Boscobel. Two daughters Shan (Mark) Kramer of Green Lake Wisconsin, Patricia (Jessie) Williams of San Diego Ca. 13 Grandchildren 13 Great-Grandchildren. One brother Al (Jean) Frey of Fennimore. Five sisters Dorothy Waltz of Boscobel, Martha Stender of Loveland Colorado, Joanne (Sam) Griffin of Racine, Shirley (Gale) Slauson of Hesperia Ca., Charlene Staskal of East Dubuque Illinois. A sister in law Florence Reed of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Helen Gebhard.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday July 9, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Boscobel Fire Department or the Boscobel Rescue Squad. On line Condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com

Frey Family, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a totally awesome man, funny in every way. I remember coming with my dad to deliver feed and also with Mike when he would come out. I am sincere sympathy..

Bob,
Sorry to hear of your dad passing away. Haven't seen you in a while, hope things are going good for you. I retired in 2007, traded the dump truck in for an RV.

We will certainly miss the trips to Boscobel to visit Bob as well as Dorothy. Jim loved to listen to the stories Bob would tell and laugh for hours. My parents, Rex and Helen Ransom would bring us to the farm to visit in earlier years. We will miss those special times. Our sympathies to the Frey Family.
