Dateline-Blue River
Charles J. Rosauer age 74 of Blue River passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 23, 2011 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel . He was born February 24, 1937 in New Hampton Iowa. The son of Carl and Rita (Baltus) Rosauer. He married Irma Adela Scholbrock on September 27, 1958 at Calmar Iowa.Charlie was the past president of the Boscobel CB Club for man years. President of the Big River Long Rifle Club. He was a truck driver for 45 years working for Milk Specialties and Jim Richardson Trucking. He is survived by his wife Irma Rosauer of Blue River. Two daughters: Connie Rosauer of Vesper Wisconsin, Deb (Kory) Krogen of Boscobel. A Son: Gerry Rosauer of Blue River. 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren. 5 brothers: Chet (Fran) Rosauer of Independence Iowa, Bill Rosauer of Allison Ia., Allan (Ilene) Rosauer of Cedar Falls, Lee (Lynn) Rosauer of Lakeville Minnesota, David ( Jolene ) Rosauer Sac City Iowa. 5 Sisters: Lucy (Joe) Marchiando of Aurora Iowa, Ruth Anne Rosauer of Nashua Iowa, Joan (Dennis) King Gladbrook Iowa, Sharon (Gary) Fobian of Cedar Falls, Helen Beane of Arlington Texas, Marylou (Paul) Nelson of Louisville Kentucky.A daughter in law Kathy Rosauer of Praire du Chien . His pets Sadie the dog and Kitzer the cat. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Bernie Rosauer, a daughter in law Terrie Rosauer. Two grandchildren Chuckie and Ryan Rosauer.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Wednesday December 28, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until the departure to church at 12:30 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Just read about your dad's passing, and wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You have had to deal with a lot of loss in your lifetime, more than you should have to. Sending my sympathies, and thinking of you!

You all have our sympathy.Chuck was a good guy, and he was an awesome President for the Big River Long Rifles in the past.We will miss him at the rendezvous, but know that he is attending many rendezvous in heaven.Sorry we couldn't make the service, but I couldn't get the day off from work.

I have just heard of Charles passing and wanted to extend my sympathy to his entire family. My husband John Jr.(Jack) Rosauer was a first cousin of Charles. Their fathers were brothers. I remember seeing Charles at rendezvous In WI. May you hearts find healing in cherished memories May your spirits find comfort in thoughts and prayers.

I was sorry to hear of your Dad''s passing. I was his neighbor since 1969. I liked him.He was always friendly. Lost my husband Feb, 2010 after 40 yrs .Its hard to go on but we have to. Life goes on. You Have My Deepest Sympathy.Kay Richter.
