We are so sad to lose one of the long-time river bank regulars, a good neighbor and friend. Jack and I rode the school bus together in the 1940s, and I always appreciated his kindness, sense of fun and good hearted care of family and friends. You are in my thoughts and prayers,

I am so sadden to hear of the passing of your dear husband and dad. I don't think I can remember ever seeing Jack without a beautiful smile on his face. He will surely be missed by all that knew and loved him. Your obituary was a beautiful tribute to him and captured the true spirit of who he was and how he will be remembered.
