My sincere condolences.

John was our mail carrier in my younger years. We lived on Sutton Creek Road about a mile from the village of Orange. As you know, John spent many hours at Emanuel's Garage in Orange where I worked in the summer. I can remember John's humor and how he interacted with Leon Emanual, Dean Ide, York Swartwood, and Hoddy Frantz as well as numerous village residents who would visit the garage during the day.

Sat October 11, 2014 I remember John and Florence on many ski trips with the Wyoming Valley Ski Club going back some 40 years. They were such nice people to be with. My deepest sympathy goes out to Florence and family for the loss of John. I'm sure he will be missed by very many folks.
