We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill, our dear friend. Our hearts go out to you and yours at this most difficult of times. We consider you and Bill part of the extended Thorne family and we will think of Bill often in remembering all of the great time we spent together. We love you and are here should you need anything. I can't believe he is gone because he was bigger than life and made most everyone laugh and smile. My heartfelt condolences to his family. |

He and I had an art class together in his Senior year and my Junior year at Glen Burnie High School. He had a piece of drift wood that he worked on for the whole year, each class he would sand it a bit and talk about his plans after graduation. We started calling him "Driftwood Bill". I use to run into him at various government offices, events or in stores. He always had a smile and a funny story for me. He was a great guy. Fuzz Pumphrey, class of 64 GBHS. |

I am also an attorney, and I noticed right away how much he cared about his clients--for Turc, it wasn't about the money--it was about helping people. He was the same way with his friends--always looking to help in some way. Turc will be sorely missed. |
