| Posted by: Joanne Thu October 02, 2014 | I'm a shamed to admit that I cringe when a "mass" is involved whether it's a baptism, wedding or funeral. I don't know why that is other than knowing an hour will be spent in a formal catholic setting. But today was different. Within the first few moments, I knew that Mrs. Carol deserved nothing short of a full, formal mass with the beautiful music and prayer to honor her life and her dedication to the Catholic Church. I am so proud of Renee and Marcy for the love and care they gave their mom and for respecting her every last wish.
I am humbled to have been a witness of the most glorious display of love and dedication this morning. My only hope is that everyone's passing is honored in the same reflection of their heart, just as Mrs. Carol Lemire's was honored today. Well done by Renee, Marcy, Gonce's and St. Jane Francis Church. All my love and faith, Joanne |
