Dear Irene, We will miss Dave.  He was an interesting conversationalist.
He was a good husband. He must have been. I never  heard you complain about him, even once. He was fortunate to have a good wife like you. You gave him the best of care in his final days. God bless you and your family.

Dear Irene,

We will all miss Dave for his ready smile, lively sense of humor and his love of life.  The two of you were wonderful together and I am so happy that you had so many wonderful years.  He was so devoted to you and to his family and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.  We will always think of Dave when there are good games on TV and any time we hear "On the banks of the old Raritan".

With love and prayers,
Mary and Alan

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your Dave, I
was a four year classmate of Dave's at St Benedicts Prep. I will always remember Dave as the guy who was always ready to participate in school
activities, and he ended up as the leader of many of them. I was amassed by his endless amount of energy and love for new adventures.

RIP my friend, I will keep you in my prayers,

Bob Campi

I went to high school with Dave at SBP and I haven't seen him since high school. I have a clear picture in my mind of what he looked like and I remember him as one of the nicest guys I knew. I'm sure he had a full life and we all gained from knowing him

Irene,

We will all miss Dave, you and the cats most of all.  Each of us carries with us a fond memory, favorite story that comforts us at this time.  Among my blessings, I count being an adopted member of the Dunphy clan. One thing we can count on - Dave is sitting in a comfortable chair, with a glass of ice tea, watching sports.
My condolences on your loss.
Peace and Prayers - Robin

Dear Irene,

We all have many good memories of Dave; he was always organizing something -- a beautiful legs contest in gym class, intramural basketball teams (he loved his jump shot!), even a group to go to the Branford Theatre to see The Glenn Miller Story.

I always looked forward to the next time we could get together, which was and now always will be never soon enough.
