Posted by: Bob Ketchum Fri January 27, 2017 | Milton and I met in 1937 when we lived next door to each other at 1201/1203 Kenwood Avenue. We raised pigeons in our back yards .We spent many hours fishing at the Duck Pond on Clinton Street as young friends together. We "acquired" bananas and tomatoes from the produce trucks nearby....We swam in the Baltimore Harbor and since neither one of us could afford bathing suits......well....you get the picture!!! I got my drivers license first so we would ride to Millers Island and Milton was always a good looking Irish guy and attracted the girls. I will always love Milton and I'll see him again. |
