It has been a joy to know your mom for the last 42 years. She was a lovely woman inside and out. She was always kind, sweet, gracious and welcoming. I never heard a harsh word from her. She was truly a Proverbs woman. What a great role model for all of us.

Even when she couldn't know you, she was still mom, grandmom. I pray for God's peace to rest on each and everyone of you to help you through this time.

Sat September 26, 2015 I have many fond memories visiting the Cermak family while tagging along with my father,Ken. A few times I remember Gertrude would give me a small hand shovel and a cardboard box and would allow me to dig up some plants from her yard so I could transplant them around the flagpole at my childhood home. I enjoyed those quiet times in the garden with her.
