Posted by: Joe Campbell Wed February 15, 2012 | Ed was my first supervisor when I joined the Police Department as a young Police Cadet. I learned many things from him that carried through my career his style of supervising was one I admired. He could chew you out one minute, and then ask you for a ride home the next. When I was promoted to Sergeant he became my supervisor again and had not changed in his style, He cared greatly about his family and I am sure they will miss him. As others have said he was truly a "Legend" in the Anne Arundel County Police Department. We will relive those memories time and again when we old veterans gather. My condolences to the family, I am sorry I was not able to attend any of the services as I didn't get the word in time to adjust my committments. Ed will surely be missed but, he will live on in our memories and our stries forever. |
