We didn't know your dad, but we heard you speak so many times of him and knew how much you loved him. God gave you many years with your father and many memories left to ponder. I'm especially glad to hear that he was prepared to meet the Lord, and for that we give God the thanks. Your peace of mind is knowing he was at peace with God. My heart hurts for all of you at the loss of your Dad. I know he was a HUGE presence in all of your lives and there will be a great void now that he is gone. He fought a long battle and I'm sure he was comforted by the Love and support of his family. There is peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering and that you all have such great memories to carry you through this difficult time.
