Although Lonna is my niece, we were only a few years apart so she was like a younger sister to me when we were growing up. As we grew older, we grew apart, but when I happened to see her or talk to her on the phone, she always made me smile and we shared a lot of laughs together. I love the way she laughed. It was contagious! I know that Lonna experienced some tough times in her life, but she seemed to be able to come through those tough times with a smile. I pray that Lonna’s family and friends find comfort in remembering the good times they had with Lonna and by knowing she is in a much better place – a place where we will all meet again someday.
