Sweet Dave and Sheryl

No words can express the sadness Kathy and I feel for you and the rest of the family. We only got to spend a day around Jake but in that one day he left a lasting impression on Kathy and I.

Wish we could be there, but we can't. Know that we think and pray often for you both..

Sheryl and family. I am so very sorry to hear of Micheals passing. I will always remember my time with him as my student in Graphic Design. He always had some great ideas and certainly was very talented. Always thinking outside the 'box'. Please know your family are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

I've known Michael for the last 7 years. He was always a kind and very accepting person. The past two years he has came home for Christmas, he always came to my home or invited me to his parents. I'd driven him home to Texas two years ago on New Years and is a time I will never forget. Many memories have been obtained from over the years with him. He will forever be missed by myself as well as many of our friends. I love that guy forever. Will miss you always, see you soon. xoxo

Dave, Sheryl, and Ethan,

We are so very sorry for your loss. However, we are honored to have seen Michael grow from a thoughtful, intelligent boy into the caring young man with his father's musical talent and his mother's quick wit.  He will be missed but not forgotten.

For the Director of Music:
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower....
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip....
The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.  (From Ps. 18)
Dave, Sheryl, Ethan, & Family,
There are no words to express my deep sorrow for your loss. I pray that you will seek refuge in the One who gives Life, in his Holy Comforter. And I pray that you will know peace and happiness again. May Father's angels hold you up as you lay your beloved boy to rest, and afterwards. And I pray Father continues to hold you tightly, under his wings--next to his heart.
Love,
Melody

My son Todd Davis was hit hard by the news of this tragedy; I am so sorry for your loss. I am upset at the fact he will never see his child grow, never be able to see all the miracles that comes with that.
Life shouldn't be so painful!

Your family has been very much on our minds as you deal with the tragic loss
of your son Michael.....their is no way a person can ever be prepared for the loss of one of their children. It's just not supposed to happen that way.

Dear Lamme Family--

I knew your son in Dallas.  He was exceedingly bright, wonderfully funny and impressively ambitious. He loved his friends -- and they loved him.  He wanted a better life for himself, was constantly looking to improve and spoke warmly of his family and his hometown.  His sudden passing at so young an age tears at my heart and has left me and his friends here so hurting.  But, we are comforted (as I hope the family is as well) that his time here was so memorable.  Please accept my deepest sympathy for this terrible loss.

Don

Just stumbled across this sad news while looking around on Facebook - I can't tell you how broken-hearted I am for your loss, Sheryl (& Dave). So many years since I've seen you in person, but I'm crying like we're still best friends back in high school. I still have all the family pictures you sent at various Christmastimes, and I saw many more of him today - I have to say Jacob looks to me like he is and has always been a beautiful soul. My love to you, and I miss you, dear Sheryl - wish I could give you a big hug in person.

Dave and family,
I was so saddened when you facebooked me about your son that I had to look him up and see his face. I am so sorry and I know Earl would be also. He spoke of you all the time as if you were his kid. I knew all about your Navy days. I know words can't change anything but he is jamming with your daddy I hope! Hugs to an old friend!
