Posted by: Jim Smith Wed November 07, 2012 | So sorry to hear about Bill. I had Stage IV cancer of the throat so I know a lot about the fight that Bill had been through and he was never short on fight. In growing up with him in Jamesport he made me and others laugh so many times, he brought joy to so many.
We are all so sorry Dixie, you are in all of our prayers. |

Posted by: Jacinda Bouton Fri November 09, 2012 | Bill will truly be missed, he was a special man. When I was a little girl I can remember several times when this big burly man wouldn't hesitate to play tea party with me. In fact, he got me a tea set for Christmas one year along with a doll that was almost as big as I was at the time. Throughout the years, we have had many family gatherings when Bill would keep us all laughing. He often enjoyed shocking people with a comment which might really startle them until he let that wry little smile go and they could tell he was pulling their leg. He had a big heart and I know that nothing made him and Dixie happier than to see Jamie grow into a beautiful young woman with a family of her own. I wish Art and I could be there this weekend but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. |
