J.A. was a 2nd cousin to me, I think.  But he was a friend and neighbor to my Gammie (Blanche) and Leighton Pederson when I was a little girl.  Sue and J.A. were newlyweds when my memories of him are most vivid.  I went to stay with my grandparents, but J.A. let me come over and feed cattle with him.  He even let me drive the tractor and I think i was only 7 years old.  Both he and Sue were so gentle and sweet.  Even now, I remember how special that time was to me.  I'm so glad that J.A., Sue and the kids got to come and see us in Southern CA a few years ago.  That was really special.

I will continue in prayer for the family.  I pray that all the wonderful memories of a sweetheart of a man come flooding in to fill the void he leaves.  I look forward to meeting him again for an eternity.

I was so sorry to hear about J.A.''s death.  I just learned of his death a few days ago June 24th.  J.A. was one of the friendliest persons with the biggest smiles that I will ever know.  I hope your fond memories of him will help you at this very sad time.

I, too, just learned of J.A.''s passing. I echo Karen and Betty Lou''s sentiments exactly. He, as well as Sue, were lots of fun to be around, always.  My memories are of smiles and laughter and looking forward to seeing them. I am so glad that I got to see them again at Mom''s (Louise Brassfield Boltz) services in 2006. Same thing, smiles and laughter, even though J.A. was dealing with health issues. So wish I could have been there for Sue at his services.

Hugs,
Zana
