I have fond memories of your Dad.  I remember his big smile and inviting manner.  My parents often uesed his services at the station.  My Dad always said "we need to support local businesses." My father passed away
last April at a Veterans home in Quincy, Illinois.  Not until Dad entered the Vet. Home did I come to really
realize the sacrifice these men and women made during WWII.
I am learning now how many service men lived in Trenton (a great place to grow up in the 40's, 50's and
60's.)  You know they never really talked about there service experiences yet focused on earning a living and
raising their families.  I regret I can not attend the services in Trenton, however I will be thinking of you and
you will find comfort in your Dad's wise actions and words he shared with you over the years.  I keep hearing
my Dad speak to me and the many loving reminders are comforting as they will be for you.

Love to you both and your families,
Ann Broyles

Dear Randy and Neil and your families,
Earl and I are so sorry to hear about your father's passing.  Though we did not know him personally, every word I ever heard about him was good.  We know you will miss him so.
We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
