Fri January 22, 2016 I enjoyed having the opportunity of getting to know Jerry over the years. He was a kind man who enjoyed a good laugh and would chat with you on about any subject. I don't think I ever heard him say an unkind thing about anyone. He will be missed.

Fri January 22, 2016 Dear Family of Jerry Whitney;
Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of meeting Jerry, but I had the extreme good fortune to get to know, like, and respect his daughter, Barb. We worked together in the Air Force Reserve for many a year. One of my favorite things about Barb (and trust me, there are many--she's the consummate professional air evac medical technician and senior NCO) is her immense love of, and pride in, her family. Her eyes would always sparkle whenever she spoke of her mom or dad. It is because of this that I know you will be greatly missed, Jerry; but I am happy that you are reunited with your beautiful love.
