Dear cousins -- I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Eleanor's death.  She fought long and hard but the body of this earth eventually cannot fight any more.  I remember her mostly for her tenderness and love for family -- always a kind word at just the right moment!  Being closest to my dad in age, I know those two shared a very special bond -- it gives me joy to know they are now all reunited with their parents and brothers and sisters!  What a grand Knutson reunion that must have been!  I know you will miss her terribly -- losing your last parent leaves a hole that is HUGE!  May you all feel my prayers for you in the days and weeks to come, and may God heal this loss and turn your tears of sorrow into joy-filled memories of your mom!  Blessings and comfort to each of you!  Kathy

Cousins-
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I know it's very difficult to have both parents gone, but they are together in eternal peace.  Aunt Eleanor was blessed with patience and love to give to those around her.  It's very sad to know that all of my Aunts and Uncles are now gone, but I'm glad that I was able to know them.  Here's a poem that touched my heart- I hope it brings you comfort.

A Mother's Love-
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.

Love- Janice

Dear Cousins - I am very sorry to hear of Aunt Eleanor's passing.  I know how much she will be missed.  Your mother was such a sweet person. I remember all the trips to your farm with my mom.  It seems like we just celebrated your mom and dads anniversary.  It's very hard to lose your last parent.  I know she is with all her loved ones now.  I am glad I was able to know all my Aunts and Uncles and sad to know they are all gone.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Georgia

Eleanor was such a sweetheart.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with she and Bill at Sunnyview Nursing Home many years ago.  They both were such valuable assets to the nursing home.  Loved them both..
