Ron and family,  I am so sorry to hear about you losing your dad.  You know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.  I remember when I was a kid and we would go the Montgomery Wards to browse around with my mom - I always loved seeing and talking to your dad because he always made us kids feel welcome.  He was such a friendly, nice man and I know you will miss him a lot.  He will always be in your heart.

Ron and Family,

At times like this words just are not enough at times. You were there for us in our difficult times. Please know we hold you and your family up in prayer and hope it brings comfort to you''all as well. While we did not have the privledge of meeting your father I know what a wonderful man he must have been because he raised a fantastic son.

Surprised to find this obituary for Herchal as when I returned from Chicago I opened his Christmas card with a message they (him & Betty) were living in Kansas City for HER health.  Please accept my dismay & condolences on loving, friendly, always a smile on cousin Herchal's dear face.  It was a pleasure to meet him at Marjorie McCullough's with some of his family in 2000, & to share christmas cards over these 11 years.  My father Jay Batson always asks about him, when he found out I was in contact with Herchal & Gordon.
