Dear Jim & Charles & family...
Thinking of you all in our prayers during this time & the days ahead...love ya all.  Your family has always been such a blessing to me and you all treated me like one of your own too.

I can remember when our folks used to get together to play cards on the weekends...and when they played pitch.  Somehow Don always got me on a pick your partner.  Then he'd always frustrate me...by "shooting the moon"...of course sometimes we actually won.  But they always made me feel like they enjoyed me playing too.  They both are missed...

Love ya...come over & hang out with us anytime...now & in the future!
Jackie & Brian

Jim, Charles, and Cheryl,

I am so sorry for your loss and I wish I could be there on Friday.  Don was a very special person and I know that he was probably Dad's closest friend.  I remember stopping at the Farm Supply many different times and he and Dad were in the office with their feet up on the desk, drinking a Coke and laughing so loud I could hear them in the parking lot.  I have many other fond memories (like Jackie) of our parents playing cards together, almost every Saturday night without fail.

Even though I won't be able to be there for the service please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jacinda and Art Bouton

Don was a great guy and a great man to do business with. I got to know him when he had his equipment business south of Tindall and I grew to appreciate him a lot. He had a good life and was a good example for the rest of us.

Dear Jim and Family,
As I think back about our years of friendship with your Mom and Dad, I remember their sense of humor and the closeness that they shared as a couple. As the family hairdresser, you get an inside look at many families. I had so many good times with your Mom talking about Donald taking her dancing and playing cards with friends. I recall one Halloween David and I parked at the machine shed and peeked through the windows to try to scare them. When we finally got in the house, I was not sure that they would recognize us with our costumes, but your Dad grabbed me anyway and started dancing through the kitchen. I think that he tricked us more than we tricked him. You were so blessed to have parents who stayed married and were so close for so long. They will both be missed but leave behind many fond memories. Love, Terri and Family

Dear Jim and family,
I was so heart broken to hear this news. Uncle Donald was soo sweet to Kim and I. I have such good memories of him and Marylou playing ar their house when I was little. I always wanted to take home their kittens! We are thinking of you all. I hope he's already challenging Grandpa Leo to pool. I still miss him everyday.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Kristen, Chris, Cade, Coby and Cohen Blasen
