Wilbur Curt Deegan passed away April 25, 2011, at his home in Boca Raton, Florida. He was 67 years of age.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., May 6, 2011 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton, MO.
Curt was born in Trenton, Missouri, July 24, 1943, the son of Wilbur and Bernice Deegan.
After graduating in 1961 from Trenton High School, he attended the University of Missouri at Rolla, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. After graduating from college, he received his commission as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Several months later Lt. J.G. Curt Deegan was assigned to the Officer in Charge of Construction, Saigon Naval Facility of Engineering. He was the contracting officer for building the Vietnamese National Radio Network. After being discharged from the navy, he began a career with IBM. He retired from IBM, as a Computer Adversary Consultant. After his retirement he continued his love of computer programming.
He is survived by his sister, Connie Krohn and her husband, Andrew of Princeton, MO, his brother-in-law, Robert Ward of St. Joseph, MO, two nieces, Leisa Merritt and Lesley Renfro Willson; and three nephews, Richard Ward, Steven Renfro, and Seth Renfro.
Curt was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Wilberta Ward.
