Funeral services for Luretta Fern LeBlanc will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton.
Mrs. LeBlanc, a 94-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Monday morning, December 31, 2018, at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Mrs. LeBlanc was born on December 18, 1924, in Mercer County, Missouri, the daughter of Earl E. and Essie (Hamilton) Hann. She attended school in Mercer County and graduated from Princeton High School in 1943. She married Carl J. LeBlanc on July 18, 1963, in Gallatin, Missouri. Mrs. LeBlanc was a long-time Trenton businesswoman, co-owning and operating LeBlanc Construction Company and the Starlite Skate Center. In addition, she was a tenured den mother for the Cub Scouts. Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of the Church of Christ and served as a Sunday school teacher. She was also a lifetime member of the Mercer county 4-H. She enjoyed embroidering gifts for her family and watching her grandchildren participate in sports and other activities.
Mrs. LeBlanc is survived by two sons, Garry Croy and his wife, Bev, of Trenton, and Larry Croy and his wife, Sharon, of Happy, Texas; five grandchildren, Wes Croy and his wife, Jenni, of Trenton; Lance Croy and his wife, Tinna, of Brookfield; Dr. Jill Watkins and her husband, Wes, of Chillicothe; John Croy and his wife, Colleen, of Friona, Texas, and Emily Fisher and her husband, Doug, of Kearney; twelve great grandchildren, Pake Croy of Chillicothe; Mason Croy, of Gallatin; Lathan, Salem and Kaegen Croy of Trenton; Colton Morphis and his wife, Riley, of Amarillo, Texas; Caden, Dylan, Jaisley, and Kyler Michael Croy of Friona, Texas; and Gracie and Ethan Fisher of Kearney; one great great grandchild, Lynneax Bowman Croy; one niece Brenda Rogers and her husband, Tom, of Olathe, Kansas; and several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Junior Hann; two sisters, Lucille Williams and Lois Hann; one brother-in-law Billy G. Williams; one sister-in-law Dorothy Hann, one grandchild Michael Croy, and one nephew Ronnie Hann.
