Mary Carolyn (Crawford) Moore, 91, died January 25, 2011, of natural causes. Private internment will be at Resthaven Cemetary, Trenton, MO.
Mary was the daughter of William R. and Ada M. (Myers) Crawford and was born on July 25, 1919, in Trenton, MO. She attended local schools and graduated from Trenton High School in 1937. She married Eugene C. Moore on June 6, 1937. Mary and Gene moved to Brookfield, Mo in 1947 and she made her home there until 2006 when she relocated to Denton, TX to be near her son, Richard C. Moore, and family.
Mary was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Brookfield, MO and was active in the Brookfield Elks Club and the Trenton High School Foundation Trust. Through the years she was employed at the Brookfield Production Credit Association and Security State Bank. She then worked and traveled with her husband, Gene, for 11 years in various states and Canada.
Survivors include her only son and daughter-in-law, Richard C. and Jerry L. Moore, 2 grandchildren, Patrick R. Moore, wife, Jamie of Argyle, TX, and Meredith A. (Moore) Tieszen and husband, Chad, of Denton, TX, and 2 great grandchildren, Alexandra and Nash Moore. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and grandmother, Tenia Myers with whom she made her home from the age of 2 in Trenton, MO.
