Dora Davidson, a 92 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 10:10 p.m., Tuesday, October 02, 2018 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 9:00 until service time Saturday. Open visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Friday at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral services and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Dora Ellen Davidson was born April 28, 1926 in Trenton, MO to Alva and Lottie Mae (Strong) Allen. She graduated from Trenton High School with the class of 1945. On January 19, 1946 she was united in marriage to Dale Hobert Davidson. They lived their entire married lives in Trenton. Dale preceded her in death on August 30, 2000. Dora was a member of the Trenton First Assembly of God Church and was active in many other organizations including the Ladies Aux. V.F.W., the Genealogy Society and Historical Society as well as serving as a leader for the Missonettes, Brownies, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Surviving relatives include her daughters Cheryl Lynn Davidson of Springfield, MO, Carole June Abbey and husband Mike of Trenton, MO, and Lyndale Ranae Ryan and husband Frank of Sioux Falls, SD, adopted children Frank Allen Davidson and Rose Allen Robles, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, 3 brothers, William Ervin, Paul Eugene, and Frank Leon Allen, and granddaughter Crystal Abbey Bryant.
