Garald Wayne Johnson a 94 year old Trenton resident passed away at 1:45 a.m., Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Edinburg I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Edinburg, MO.  A visitation is scheduled from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Edinburg I.O.O.F. Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.
Garald Wayne Johnson was born December 11, 1923 in Suntex, OR to George W. and Iza O. (Peterson) Johnson.  He attended West Plains School and served in the United States Marine Corp. during WWII.  On March 4, 1962 he was united in marriage to Helen Langdon in Spickard, MO.  Garald worked at Tharps Sales and Services and with Ed Endecott Carpentry.  He also famed and Cainsville and Mt. Moriah.
Surviving relatives include his wife Helen of the home, and nieces and nephews.  Those preceding him in death include his parents and a sister Georgia Kirkland.  The family would like to thank Three Rivers Hospice.

Helen I’m sorry to hear of Garald’s passing, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember the good ole days going to the shop, Gerald always had a smile on his face and always lending me a helping hand. He was one of a kind.
