Rebecca Lynn Offield, a 46 year old Kansas City, MO resident, passed away at 11:40 p.m., September 13, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center after a battle with cancer.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton, MO. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left with or mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Rebecca Offield was born, December 13, 1971 in Kansas City, KS to William and Janice (Lawson) Rains. She graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1990. On October 12, 2014 she was united in marriage to Stan Offield in Walnut Shade, MO. Rebecca had been working as an administrative assistant with Cigna for the last 5 years. She was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan and was recently becoming a fan of the Kansas City Royals. She also loved listening to music and going to concerts.
Surviving relatives include her husband of the home, daughter Ashley Sanborn and husband Korey of Atchison, KS, step sons Daniel Offield and wife Allison, Steven and wife Haley, and Matthew Offield all of Kansas City, MO, sisters, Pam Wallace and husband Jesse of Kansas City, KS, and Cindy Brull and husband Mark of Shawnee, KS, a brother Bryan Rains and wife Betty of Basehor, KS and her four legged family Elmer, Heidi, and Oliver
