Louise Eads, a 97 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 4:57 a.m., Monday, August 06, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Louise Eads was born November 23, 1920 in Gillette, WY to Ray and Bessie (Scott) Starr. She was raised in a Standard Oil Company Town in WY and graduated from the University of Wyoming. From 1942 through 1943 Louise taught school in Wyoming. She then joined the United States Marine Corp with the 2nd Women’s Recruitment Class. Louise was a gunnery instructor teaching Marine pilots how to sight in on enemy airplanes. She was stationed in Cherry Point, NC during WW II, and was discharged with the rank of Corporal. After her honorable discharge she moved to Trenton where her family resided. She taught at Brainard School for 1 year before marrying Donald M Eads on February 14, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2000. Louise was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Starla Buchanan and husband Jim of Ft. Myers, FL; two sons’ Tom Eads and wife Linda of Trenton and Dave Eads and wife Charla of Hamilton, MO; seven grandchildren, Jeff Eads, Melissa Coon, Michelle Wehr, Travis Buchanan, Kacey Taylor, Kristy Eckerson and Kelly Eads; and 18 great grandchildren.

We were so sorry to learn of the passing of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was a wonderful woman, loved and appreciated by many and she will be greatly missed by those many lives she touched. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers as you celebrate her wonderful life.
