Pepper VanFleet, a 79 year old Springfield, MO and former Trenton resident, passed away November 17, 2017 at Maple Wood Care Center in Springfield.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. A private inurnment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Robert Dale “Pepper “VanFleet, was born December 13, 1937 in Trenton to Dale Audrey and Hazel Nadine (Ricketts) VanFleet. He graduated from Trenton High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Trenton Junior College. On June 18, 1960 he was united in marriage to Janice Allen at the First Christian Church in Trenton. Pepper worked at Trenton Foods and Con Agra in Milan with the quality control department. He also enjoyed doing upholstery for a side business.
Surviving relatives include his wife Janice of the home, Son Robert Wayne VanFleet of Hannibal, MO, daughter Pamela Jo White of Pequot Lakes, MN, sister Bernice Elliot and husband Chuck of Trenton, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
