Steve Horner, a 74 year old Chillicothe, MO resident passed away at 12:50 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until service time Friday.  Open visitation will begin Thursday morning.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Stephen Michael Horner was born September 5, 1943 in Trenton to Franklin Michael and Edra Lucille (Tyler) Horner.  He graduated from Trenton High school.  On November 21, 1970 he was united in marriage to Jenelda Sue Shipers in Trenton.  For over 30 years Steve worked with the T.M.U. as the Water and Wastewater Distribution Superintendent.  In his spare time, Steve loved camping and fishing. He also especially enjoyed his pet dogs.
Surviving relatives include his daughters Michelle Rardon and husband Matt of Chillicothe, MO and Sonna Reaves and spouse Barbara of Trenton, four sisters Jean Endecott and husband C.S. of Trenton, MO, Judy Joiner of Stillwater, OK, Martha Landon of Grass Valley, CA, and Susan Horner of Kirksville, MO, nine grandchildren; Jaime Albertson, Jaxon Albertson, Trace Rardon, Taylor Rardon, Natalie Thorne, Heidi Thorne, Ashley Duty, Rahel Horner and River Horner, Six great grandchildren and his beloved dog Ginger.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, wife, son Jeremy Horner and a sister Marilyn Horner

Sorry to hear of your loss.
A few years have gone bye, but the memories of the Merrill St gang and the kids in your neighborhood, and Ronnie Young scaring us all to death!
