Leeila Kilburn, a 90 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 9:25 p.m., Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  Memorial donations are suggested to either the Barton Campus or the Women’s Shelter and may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
O. Leeila Kilburn was born April 4, 1927 in Reger, MO to Victor and Doris (Kelsall) Alspach.  She graduated from Trenton High School class of 1945.  On October 19, 1947 she was united in marriage to Alvin Kilburn in Trenton.  He preceded her in death on November 18, 2004.  Leeila worked at the Grundy County Extension and Federal Land Bank and farmed with Alvin.  For many years she served as Secretary/Clerk for Fairview Baptist Church where she was a member.  Upon Fairview’s closing she moved her membership to the First Baptist Church in Trenton.
Surviving relatives include her daughters Jeanie Gibson and husband Jim and Janice Belvel and husband Willis both of Trenton, grandchildren Justin Watkins and wife Monica of Blue Springs, MO, Carol Pauley and husband Tony of Melcher-Dallas, IA, Zach Bevel and wife Jen of Trenton, Sean Gibson and wife Haley of Walnut Creek, CA, Jennifer Woolsey and husband Dr. McClain Woolsey of Niceville, FL and Ciara Bauer and husband John of Tebbetts, MO, four great grandchildren Jaycie and Tyler Watkins, Eli and Carson Woolsey, Gabriella Gibson and Sawyer Bauer, and step great grandchildren Breanna and Kruz Uhlberg.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, infant son Chester Alvin and daughter Joy Watkins.

We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was an awesome person. I remember spending the night at your house and she always made me feel like part of the family.
