Morris Linn Belvel, a 70 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 7:49 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at Wright Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. His body is to be cremated following the service with inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 until 6:00 Monday evening. Open visitation will begin Monday morning. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be left with the funeral home.
Morris Lynn Belvel was born January 13, 1947 in Trenton to Harry Bernell and Mildred Eloise (Hickman) Belvel. On May 25, 1970 he was united in marriage to Janet Corethers in Trenton. He served in Germany with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. For 45 years Morris was employed with Con-Agra in Trenton, retiring in March of 2013. Morris enjoyed bass fishing and traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving relatives include his wife Janet of the home, son Harry Belvel and wife Jennifer of Trenton, grandsons Hayden and Sawyer Belvel of Trenton, sister Nora Ann Wilson of Bend, OR, and brothers Harry Belvel and wife Sherrill and Willis Belvel and wife Janice all of Trenton.
Those preceding him in death include his parents and a brother Jon Belvel.

I will miss him with all my heart. I have lots of wonderful memories to comfort me. We should talk soon. I do wish I could be there. Hasn't really sunk in yet. I remember what this feels like. I would wrap my arms around you if I could. My love to all of you. Nora
