Wanda Leck a 65 year old former Harris, MO resident went home to be with the lord at 7:17 a.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, IA.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Galt Baptist Church in Galt, MO. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral home for expenses and may be mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home at 813 Custer St., Trenton, MO.
Wanda Leck was born January 12, 1952 in Trenton, MO to Clarence and Dortha (Foster) Propps. She graduated from Newtown Harris High School and attended Indian Hills College. Wanda resided in Harris until the late 1970’s when she moved to Iowa. She attended the Allerton Presbyterian Church and the Centerville Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Melanie Sales of Centerville, IA, son Michael Leck of Centerville, IA, sisters Shirley Propps of Kansas City, MO, Mary Breeze of Centerville, IA and Margaret Grimes of Centerville, IA, grandchildren Michael Stark, Jesse Stark, Luke Sales and James Sales, honorary son Robert Buck Sr. and wife Lydia, and honorary grandchildren Christina Buck and Robert Buck Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
