Arveta Carver, a 63 year old Galt, MO resident passed away at 4:00 a.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her residence north of Galt, surrounded by family.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Galt Christian Church. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery Northeast of Galt. A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Open visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday morning at Payne Funeral Home in Galt. Alice Arveta Carver was born January 31, 1954 in Chillicothe, MO to Ralph and Helen Ann (Hunt) Snyder. She attended Chillicothe and Pleasant View R-6 schools before graduating from Trenton High School. On May 5, 1972 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Rick Carver, in Chillicothe, MO. Together they have farmed North of Galt.
Surviving relatives include her husband Rick of the home, daughters Ali Criswell and husband Ty of Hartsburg, MO and Amanda Hall and husband Jeramiah of Iowa Falls, IA, son Abe Carver and wife Tiffany of Galt, brothers Ralph Snyder of Liberty, MO and Joe Snyder of Newtown, MO, sister Cora Gibson of Trenton, and nine grandchildren; Emma, Ella, Alex, Weston, Leah, Sydney, Dylan, Caden, and Jaden.
Those preceding her in death include her parents and a sister Mary Ann Veatch.
