Betty, the daughter of Thomas & Gladys Taylor, was born April 14, 1924 near Weatherby, Missouri.  She married William Edgar Taul on August 18, 1940.  He preceded her in death in January 1, 1998.    Betty had 4 brothers and one sister precede her in death.  Her surviving siblings are Bobby, Ivan, Kenneth and Janice Taylor.
Bill and Betty raised a family of 7 children.  Surviving children are; Doris Taul Provorse and husband Gary, Ike Taul, Dorothy Taul, Nancy Taul, Billy Taul, and Peggy Taul Boulware and husband Barry, all of the Trenton area.   A daughter Linda Taul Toelkes and her husband Bill of Texas.  Betty has 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Betty will be remembered as mom, grandma, granny, sister, neighbor and friend by many.  She loved cooking for her family and baking for her boys. She won many ribbons at the Trenton fair; she would work on a project all year. She always cared for her little brothers who are in a nursing home.  She quilted, gardened, and never met a book she did not enjoy reading.  She loved Hallmark movies, but her greatest love was the St Louis Cardinals.   She was a great advisor whether you wanted her opinion or not!  One plaque in her kitchen read, “The older I get, the better I was”.  Betty will be remembered by many whose lives she touched.
A private graveside service was held at Willis Chapel Cemetery, north of Brimson.
