Arvilla Tabbert, an 88-year-old resident of Trenton passed away at 7:40 AM at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the First Assembly Of God in Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.
Mrs. Tabbert was born on May 16, 1928 in Todds Point, IL the daughter of Orville and Lena (Grupe) Cohea. She was married to Billie Tabbert on October 29, 1946 in Decater, IL; he preceded her in death on June 17, 1994. They moved from Shelbyville, IL to a farm northwest of Galt. She worked at Gibson’s , Brown Dress Shop, and was a cook at Grundy R-V school, and Grundy County Senior Center.

Survivors included three sons, Ronnie and Kathy Tabbert, Kevin and Cindy Tabbert, Terry and Sonya Tabbert, all of Trenton, MO; daughter, Judy and Larry Urton of Trenton, MO; two sisters, Lois Mattson of Effingham, IL and Sandra Buenker of Neoga, IL; 10 grandchildren, Lisa Pawling, Julie Trimble, Pam Urton, Amy Gibler, Jenni Kennebeck, Ellen Urton, Zach Tabbert, Seth Tabbert, Jacob Tabbert, and Ethan Tabbert; and 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters.
