John Drennan, a 76 year old resident of Bolivar, MO, passed away Tuesday morning March 21, 2017 at the Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 in the Half Rock Cemetery at Half Rock, MO. Memorial donations are suggested to Half Rock Cemetery and many be left with or mailed to Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.
Mr. Drennan was born on June 3, 1940 in Cornelia, GA the son of Wesley and Mildred (Watson) Drennan. He was married to Darletta Dean on June 6, 2001 in Sacramento, CA. He and his father owned and operated a Texaco Gas Station in Sacramento, CA, later he worked as a fork lift technician and parts specialist for Allis Chalmers. He then owned a fork lift and diesel repair business “S & J Service Repair.”
He is survived by his wife, Darletta Drennan of the home; daughter, Teresa Crespi of Sacramento, CA; step sons, Robert Chipps and his wife, Norma of Bolivar, MO and John Chipps of Bolivar, MO; grandchildren, Erin Horrell , Jessica Thomson, Michelle Rogers and family, Amber Chipps and family, Wade Chipps and family, Brittany Rempher and family, Brandy Allen and family, Tabetha Willhoit and family, Jeremiah Chipps, Ylynn Lansin and family, Michelle Sitoy, and Aaron Chipps.
