David Olen Williams, 60, of Trenton, passed away at his home in Trenton at 3:20 am, Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Hodge Presbyterian Church in Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Open visitation and viewing will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.

Mr. Williams was born on September 23, 1956 in Knob Noster, MO to Olen and Barbara (Burtch) Williams. His father passed away when he was only 6 months and his mother was remarried to Larry Williams. He graduated from Trenton High School and DeVry Tech. He was employed as an A Class Water Plant Operator for T.M.U. He was married to Sandra Holt on May 18, 1985 in Trenton, MO.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra “Sandi” Williams of the home; mother, Barbara Williams of Trenton, MO; two sisters, Teresa Mitchell of Wichita Falls, TX and Beth Williams of Mercer, MO.

He was preceded in death by his father, Olen Williams; and his step father, Larry Williams.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Hodge Presbyterian Church, they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.

So sorry to see where David had passed, we should not have to lose our children before us, so sorry. we lost a child so I do know the hurt some times we do not understand why God takes our children but one day we will all meet again. I truly believe that is God's plan.
I really hurt for you Barbara and your family. Take care. Hugs.
