John Paul Draper, a 58 year old Humphreys, MO resident, passed away at 3:54 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Trenton while under hospice care.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  His body is to be cremated following the services.  A visitation is scheduled from 7 until 8 Monday evening at the funeral home.  Memorial may be made to the American Liver Fondation and left with the funeral home.
John Draper was born February 8, 1958 in Blue Springs, MO to William S. and Jeanetta B (Newsom) Draper.  Their family moved around a lot for his father’s work until finally settling in the Trenton area in 1972.  He was baptized in 2001 while in Texas.  On October 9, 1993 he was united in marriage to Christine Mann in Spickard, MO.  John was employed with Farmland.  His kind heart was well known as he was a favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews.  He also loved animals and had a farm to raise all kinds of animals.
Surviving relatives include his wife Christine of the home, father William S. Draper of Trenton, a daughter Penni Richards and husband James of Meadville, MO, and seven brothers and sisters; Sharon Veach and her husband Larry of Kansas City, MO, William E. Draper, Debbie Griffin and her husband Frank, Alice Albers and her husband Jack, Donna Schieb and her husband Alva, Virginia Draper and Robert Draper and his wife Lorraine all of Trenton, and four grandchildren Nicholas John Ray Mann-Smiley, Jaylinn AnnaMarie Richards, John Paul Micheal Richards and Paige Nichole Richards.
Those preceding him in death include his mother and son Travis Mann.
